Hello and thank you for your interest in visiting The Point Tattoo! Before we continue confirming guesting dates please read over what you can expect from our shop:


The Shop:

We are a private, appointment only studio located in Tampa, Florida. Specifically, we are located in a commercially zoned bungalow right outside of Ybor city. The address is 2021 Thrace St, Tampa, FL 33605


Our Vibes & Atmosphere:

We are a LGBT+ inclusive shop and strive to be a safe space for both our artists and clients. All guests need to be aware and respectful of this.

Our general atmosphere is a relaxed, quiet space with a very "homey" feel. Working in an older converted house we have a full kitchen in the back with a sitting area for artists and a spacious waiting area up front for clients/friends. The main building has 3 tattooing rooms. The back two rooms have 1 station each and the front room holds 2 stations.

Because we are appointment only we don’t typically have walk-ins but we are happy to promote guest artists’ work to our clients to try to secure you more appointments. Most of our clients and artists are women with a preference for all kinds of cutesy, delicate, and nerdy themed tattoos.


Supplies:

Guest artists should bring their own machines, needles, ink, and any other preferred specialty supplies. The shop supplies all barriers, paper towels, wraps, bandages, caps, soaps/liquids, petroleum jelly, and disposables. We understand that flying with liquids can be very annoying so if it will make your travels much easier the owners are ok with sharing their personal inks as well, just give us a heads up. We would like it if you take your supplies home with you but if you are storing them at the shop make sure they are tidied away into a closet.


Rent Prices and Payment:

Our standard day rent for guests is $100 per day. Resident artists can also pick up extra days of working outside their regular schedule for $100 per day. If you are local and guesting semi regularly we would much rather get you on the regular schedule since confirming irregular schedules are time consuming for us. For this reason after guests have rented more than 5 days for the calendar year the rent will bump up to $125 per day.


Background Check:

To ensure safety we will do basic background checks on artists we are not personally familiar with. On your first day in the shop at least one shop manager will be with you to set you up and make sure things are running smoothly.

Before confirming we will need your full legal name, phone number, email and date of birth. We will also need a copy of your Florida DOH tattoo artist license when you come in.


Checking and Confirming Schedule:

With limited space we make sure the shop doesn’t get over-crowded by maintaining a clear schedule. All artists must confirm their guest days with management and update us if any changes occur.
